Our Little Garden

Finally living in a home, my family has been excited to start a garden this year. Some surprise tulips and daffodils have bloomed which is a special treat.

We purchased an unplanned dwarf fuji apple tree from Costco and put it in this big planter.

Our garden was originally going to be raised beds but instead we just planted them into the ground and left the wood. We planted a tomato plant, rosemary, basil, thyme, oregano, strawberries, red bell peppers, and a zuccini plant.

We planted them a week ago and I'm sad to say they aren't looking very well 😳. Brown bits are on the tips of all the plants. I'll let you know how it goes!

Also, an awesome neighbor brought us some raspberry plants (basically sticks with roots) that are getting leaves already!! 

In other big news, we FINALLY purchased our first lawnmower. It is a cordless electric, and so far I love it. It is so quiet! The cats already miss the long grass.
