Cozy coupe makeover 2.0

About 4 years ago, I scored a $5 cozy coupe at a yard sale. I gave it a girly makeover for my daughter and it has lasted quite some (with lots of dings and paint chipping of course).

My little man plays with the now banged up little car quite often, so I figured I'd give it a long overdue update. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of the before!

To begin, I sanded the paint and spray painted it black. (Looking back, I wish I would have just used primer and paint because it's textured and not smooth anymore). Live and learn!

Next, I drew and cut out the spider man symbol with an exacto knife and sprayed it on the side...and managed to forget the other side 🙉. The seat was painted red and sprayed with the stencil as well.

Once it was dried, I sealed it with a clear gloss and it was finished!

Forgetting to paint the headlights was an oversight as well! Maybe I should be kept away from power tools! 🙈

 Thanks for stopping by!!
