Big boy bed

Nolan is such an independent little guy. He puts on his boots, pulls on his backpack and is on his way!

Now that he is a little over two years old, I am starting to feel the pressure to help him do "big boy" things.

Since potty training is NOT going to happen any time soon (the horror 😱), I decided to give him a big boy bed!

The first step was to switch his crib to the toddler bed. Already, Nolan was so excited jumping in and out of it.

Once the bed was switched, we took a trip to Target for a desperately needed sheet and pillowcase purchase. He had been using the sheets my daughter used when she was little (gross I know)!

He was shown all the sheet choices and originally chose the Spiderman sheets, but as SOON as he the cars sheets he chucked the other ones and chanted "cars cars cars"!

The game plan for tonight is to stick up the gate and let him do his thing!

Just look at that dapper little dude. 💕
