Snicker's Apple Pie Recipe
This dreamy dessert was something I whipped up for a barbeque the other day. 😍 The filling was smooth and fluffy with crisp granny Smith apples to balance the sweetness.
It will be made and eaten again very soon. Next time I won't top with cut up snickers bars though (I found them to be a bit much).
Snicker's Apple Pie
Ingredients
Crust
25 Oreos
5 Tbl Butter, melted
(Or purchase a premade one)
Pie
8 oz Cream cheese
1/2 cup Crunchy Peanut butter
1/4 cup Chocolate syrup
2 Tbl Caramel
1 cup Powdered Sugar
3 diced Granny Smith apples
1 container (8 oz) Cool whip
Method
Blend Oreos to a fine texture and mix in melted butter. Press into a pie pan and bake at 350 degrees for 7 minutes. Cool completely before filling.
Whip cream cheese until light and fluffy.
Add peanut butter, chocolate syrup, caramel, and powdered sugar. Mix until combined.
Gently fold in the apples, then cool whip. Pour into the pie crust.
Refrigerate for 2 hours. Just before serving, drizzle with extra chocolate syrup if desired
Best eaten the same day made (so the apples are crisp), but still good up to one week.
